13th of April 2012 the 1st session of Working group "Problems of cooperation between independent garages and car makers and their authorized dealers" of Expert Council of the Federal Antimonopoly Service for competition development in new vehicles' sales market and aftermarket took place.
The members of the Working group are representatives of the authorities, the vehicle manufactureres, their authorized dealers, independent market operators, lawyer agencies, market non-commercial organizations and other expert companies. Association of Automotive Parts Distributors and its members are also represented in the Working group (you can find the list of members following the link).
The following issues have been discussed: terms of car repair and maintenance during guarantee period, terms of car repair and maintenance after guarantee period, access to technical information of car repair and maintenance as well as equipment by independent market operators directly from car manufactureres..
FAS took balanced position considering the interests of all market players.
